The Cono staff works closely with students to help them find success. Helpful support is available to students who seek it. Initiative is important. Students who lack initiative are provided with structure and support to help them learn to develop it. We nurture intellectual and creative growth in every student.
There are four terms of nine weeks each. At the end of each term the grades to date are sent to the parents. The only exception is that no records or reports are sent when there are any fees or fines outstanding: tuition, boarding, library, etc.
At the end of each term, those whose grades average 89 or above will be placed on the honor roll if they have no failing grades. Honor roll students and senior students who board are allowed to study in their dormitory rooms during the evening study halls. Other boarding students must attend all supervised study halls.
